MTV has cut The Chi actor Jason Mitchell from contention at this year's MTV Movie & TV Awards following allegations of misconduct.
Mitchell had been nominated for Best Performance in a Show at the 2019 MTV Movie and TV Awards, which will be held on June 17.
This comes after news that the Straight Outta Compton actor had been dropped by his agency and management team as well as fired from multiple projects, including The Chi Season 3 and an upcoming Netflix film.
